Was Richard Nixon a crook for trying to divert the Watergate investigation? - elliot hotel boston

Richard Nixon was the greatest American president ever had. I grew up listening to Richard Nixon on television. He brought a sense of security just words. I think Richard Nixon as one of the most honest man, who never was. Set up the flight at the Watergate Hotel, but try to steer the investigation. I can imagine that his motives were simply to avoid embarrassing the Bureau. Was a recording-installed system has shown that it in fact. attempt to steer the investigation. Does this make him a criminal? The President of the United States has a lot of things in secret. I agree that President Nixon should not have to do what he was all that he has not done. I have not been agreed that what he did for a strictly prosecutedThe President. He named Elliot Richardson, Attorney General of the United States, later refused to fire special prosecutor Archibald Cox, the man started to get Nixon's downfall. Nixon was a crook?

No, it was Nixon, not a thief. He was one of our best presidents in foreign policy. He ended the war in Vietnam. He opened relations with China. He entered the detente with the Soviet Union. Do not start a war, an ending. The Watergate has never been proven that - despite all evidence on the tapes - who the Watergate burglary. He tried the political damage after he was included by his campaign workers involved. His biggest mistake was tried, the parties should instead protect the dice fall where they may McGovern still well beaten. Remember the break in June of 72 years, 5 months, it came before the election. He himself admitted that he was not mistreated Watergate. And paid the price for it. Nixon and I admire all my life. I had the honor to him in 1991 when he opened his presidential library in Yorba Linda, California. Book by Lee Tom Wicker, "One of Us" for those interested, a biography, fair and balanced Nixon.

Michael F. Thank you for your kind words. I thought of another little story to accompany and you can read this text. As with Nixon as "criminals" back in the late 80s and early 90s, was published after his book in the sand, "I bought a copy of the book, at his office and asked President Nixon autograph book for me and e-mail. I have the 3-dollar bills with the book, which he included in the return postage. A few weeks later I received a packet in the letter of the Office of Richard Nixon signed the book and Nice, with an inscription written by him - he said my name! - Y-3 from one dollar bills were in the book. It would put 3 million and no one would know except me. But he did not. A true story. I'll take the $ 3 in this book to remember her kind gesture and to be honest. I was a student at the University of Virginia, no one famous.
